This simple exercise came to me intuitively while I was waiting for the water to heat up in the shower. The bathroom is often the best place for heureka! experiences ๐
The exercise works great for releasing any emotional or mental tensions or blockages, and it is also good for letting go of very specific fears or for sadness or anger. Much better than directing our anger at another soul, as this can energetically and karmically backfire!
Gaia (Mother Earth) loves to be involved in our emotional processing. And she does not really care what kind of energies we want to give her. It’s all good to her, as long as it helps us and is not harmful to anyone.
We stand with both feet firmly on the ground, the knees very slightly bent for a firm stand. Inwardly, we connect ourselves with Gaia through our feet.
Then we place both hands on our heart chakra and feel inside our body …
Do we feel balanced and centred?
Is something bothering us, perhaps in our head and mind?
Or is there an energetic heaviness in our stomach area?
With the next exhale, we can let our hands and arms swing down, supporting this movement by bending our knees slightly more and dropping our body down a little.
During this movement we let go of everything that we don’t want to hold in our bodies and give it to Gaia. Any energetic heaviness, any fears or doubts, any mental carousels that have been holding us back.
We can either focus on a specific emotion individually or we can just allow it all to go โ unspecified energies flowing down through our legs into our feet where we give it all to Gaia.
If we wish, we can make a releasing sound, like “haaaaaa …” as we breathe out.
After repeating this a few times, we place both hands on the heart chakra again … and feel inside.
Are we balanced and grounded yet? Do we feel LOVE? Or is there still something holding us back? Then we repeat the exercise for as long as it takes.
