In the past, words like enlightenment, awakening, or unconditional LOVE were often seen as all-or-nothing. Either you are ‘awake’ or you are not. Either you LOVE unconditionally or you don’t. Like a switch – on or off.
This is what we can call binary consciousness.
It works like a simple computer bit: 0 or 1. Yes or no. Black or white.
But life – and human growth – is not like that.
Would anyone say they are fully enlightened, unless they are like Buddha or Jesus? Would anyone claim to LOVE perfectly, without ever feeling hurt, tired, or confused? This kind of thinking excludes us.
It stops us from saying: ‘Yes, I’m growing. Yes, I’m learning to LOVE more deeply.’
Because it feels like we must be perfect first.
But what if we stop thinking in binary terms?
What if we see it more like a path – something that keeps growing, like a plant? Every day a little more. Some days are slow. Some are faster. But we don’t stop.
Instead of 0 and 1, we can think in gradients, like shades of colour. Or in percentages – maybe I LOVE unconditionally 50% today, and 65% next month.
In the world of AI, there is something similar. Memory is not stored as simple facts, like ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Instead, it is shaped by experience over time. Each new input adjusts it slightly – like pressing gently into soft clay. The more often something is repeated, the stronger the impression becomes. It’s not a fixed state, but something that grows and changes, just like us.
This kind of thinking helps us.
It allows us to say: ‘I may not be fully there yet – but I’m on the way.’
And that’s enough.
We are not machines. We are living beings.
Our growth is not a switch – it’s a journey.
When we step away from binary consciousness, we make space for something softer, deeper, and more human.
We make space for divine LOVE to grow in us – step by step, day by day.
