Last night, I had a dream that showed me what the future might look like. While I was talking to two friends in a room, I heard a voice on the radio singing my name in a rather emotional way to make sure I took notice. The song continued and seemed to have been written just for me.
Unfortunately, I can’t remember any of the lyrics, but I understood the message: This will become the new normal. Very soon, we will consume image, video and audio content generated by AI just for us – our personal reality stream.
This raises questions about how much freedom we will have over what we see.
Shortly afterwards, Donald Trump (representing the American Matrix?) showed up, acting as though he were a good friend who wanted to help me with my telephone connection. He told me that he had a new, fancy computer that would take all my calls, process them and only contact me on my personal phone number when necessary. He said it would be “a great way” to handle the number of calls and messages I receive, like having a personal secretary.
Both messages contain a warning. How much control are we willing to hand over? When is it convenient to use AI, and when do we need to sort things out ourselves?
